Our puppy classes consist of a 5-week course designed specifically for puppies under 25 weeks old. The first 18 weeks of a dog’s life are absolutely crucial — this period represents a key developmental window where positive experiences, early learning, and proper guidance can significantly shape their behavior for years to come. Getting things right during this vital stage of puppy training sets the foundation for a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog.
Our classes are small, friendly, and supportive, creating a relaxed environment where both puppies and owners can learn effectively. You’ll be guided through the fundamentals of training, including essential cues, focus work, recall foundations, and polite manners, while also learning how to build a strong bond with your pup.
We place a strong emphasis on socialisation for puppies, carefully introducing them to new experiences, other puppies, and exposure to adults and children in a safe and controlled manner. This approach helps build confidence, reduce fear, and encourage positive interactions from an early age.
Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to enjoy a long, happy life with your new best friend.
Your puppy can join puppy classes once they’ve had their first vaccination. This aligns with WSAVA guidance: early socialisation for puppies is low-risk and essential for preventing fear or aggression during adolescence.

Sit, down, stand. These commands are essential in our puppy classes, providing a short stay that is useful for safety when out walking, crossing the road, and getting out of the car. We’ll also teach your puppy to settle down and focus on you through engaging games. Recall is another important skill; we will explore how to safely let your puppy enjoy free exercise in the park, either off-lead or on a long line, while ensuring you can call your dog back to you. Additionally, we will cover the 'leave it' command, especially with food, lead walking, and handling for veterinary examinations as well as grooming exercises.
While your puppy undergoes this important training, we will also discuss crucial topics such as nutrition, neutering, dog law, and responsible ownership. This includes teaching everyday manners around people and other dogs, helping you raise a well-balanced and polite companion.
In our puppy training sessions, we will incorporate fun and structured socialisation for puppies, designed to build confidence, improve body awareness, and encourage positive interactions — all within a safe and supportive environment.
Join our 5-week puppy classes designed for effective puppy training and socialisation for puppies. Each session lasts 60 minutes per week, and the cost is only £20 per puppy per week (£100 for the total course).
